Unique Aspects of the MediChair:

Prior medical devices that connect remotely to health care practitioners do not include a chair that obtains a person’s vital signs, including their blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and weight. Many physicians now rely on daily variations when determining a patient’s health status and possible health care needs. Early and quick admission of a patient to a health care facility reduces the chances of major medical procedures and long term hospital stays and thereby reduces medical costs to the patient and their insurance companies.
The MediChair may also include a means for relaxation, such as massage rollers, which help relax a patient and stabilize their vital signs before being retrieved and sent to a health care practitioner, which improves the accuracy of health care practitioner diagnoses.

An exclusive application (app) is being developed and incorporated within the main computer module of the MediChair, which alternately can be the smart phone of a patient, and will control the apparatuses of the MediChair, retrieve the patient's vital signs, and automatically connect with the patient's health care practitioner and send their data and retrieve diagnoses and instructions using either a secure link over the internet or through their smart phone and telephone carrier. Other features of the "app" may include data trend analyses and automatic alerts to the patient.

Current Business Model:

The MediChair will be part of our telemedical "system" which will include an ever widening network of patients and healthcare practitioners interacting to provide remote monitoring and diagnoses. Incorporating subscription fees on both ends will provide revenue generation. Sales or rentals of the MediChair may also provide revenue generation. And, the download and use of our exclusive "app" will also be a source of revenue generation.

Insurance companies, and the like, may also be incorporated within the network and be linked between the patients and healthcare practitioners for the convenience of information sharing and health care payments and reimbursements.
